⁹ I will make you everlasting desolations; your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am Adonai.

We will possess them’—though Adonai was there— ¹¹ “therefore, as I live”—it is a declaration of Adonai—“I will deal with you with the same anger and envy that you had because of your hatred against them. I will make Myself known among them, when I judge you.
